The Fabergé Museum has offcially opened in the Shuvalov Palace in St. Petersburg

The official opening ceremony of the Fabergé Museum, the first privatey-owned museum to display works of the House of Fabergé, took place on November 19, 2013, in the Shuvalov Palace in St. Petersburg. Dmitry Medvedev, the Russian Prime Minister, attended the opening ceremony, as did V.R. Medinsky, Russian Minister of Culture; G.S. Poltavchenko, the Governor of St. Petersburg; V.F. Vekselberg, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Link of Times cultural and historical foundation; V.S. Voronchenko, the Fabergé Museum Director; and other officials.
